Customer Relationship Manager responsibilities encompass the development and maintenance of revenue and relationships with end-user accounts including educational account in both K thru 12 and Higher Education and value-added resellers (VAR) in the assigned accounts and/or territory and the development and prospecting of said end users and resellers as required. The CRM is expected to work closely with their respective Territory Account Director and other sales management teams in developing their accounts/territory. The CRM must collaborate and coordinate with their manager and other customer support functions within the company to ensure proper account support, identified opportunities, and customer needs are met. CRMs take their direction by working closely with their regional Territory Account Director and the Vice President of Sales to define goals and execute strategies in their respective territories.
Internal: All departments, field sales and sales management.
External: Relationships with existing customers, key school decision makers, and prospects in territory and with Channel Resellers that support these schools. Sales Reps from resellers involved in selling hardware solutions to all end-user markets in the territory.
2-year college degree in business or related field desirable.
This individual must be ambitious, and a self-starter with the ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision.
Must demonstrate ability to make a substantial number of calls, handle a high volume of accounts and maintain a continuing rigorous pace.
